Description: Arapaho is the early bird of the blackberry world, ripening weeks ahead of most other varieties and kicking off berry season with firm, flavorful fruit. Unlike many blackberries, it stands largely upright on its own without a trellis, making it one of the most low-maintenance options for mountain gardens. Its strong disease resistance is a bonus in our humid Appalachian summers. A great self-pollinating, *thornless* variety. Blooms mid spring.
