Description: This native cultivar evergreen groundcover has a hardy, woody root system perfect for securing steep banks. Not only does Massachusetts retain leaves during winter but they change to a bronze-maroon (almost purple) color. Spreads in size up to 5ft wide and just 12-18" tall for a wonderful low-growing ground cover. Red berries in winter round out this crowd pleaser to being an all-star year round interest solution to challenging areas. A cultivar bred for its disease-resistance and cold-tolerance.
