| Climax is an early-season rabbiteye that ripens shortly after the Austin variety, helping you maintain a continuous fresh harvest from the beginning of blueberry season. The berries are medium-sized with a pleasant, mild sweetness and an attractive deep blue color that makes for a beautiful bowl at the farmers market or on the breakfast table. Like all rabbiteye blueberries, it thrives in our naturally acidic Appalachian soils with minimal amendment needed. Plant with another rabbiteye variety that blooms at the same time to ensure berries. Blooms late winter to early spring. |
