Native Plants - SE USA

SE native plants refers to plant species that are naturally found across the Southeastern United States and have evolved there without human introduction, breeding, or hybridization. More specifically, they are plants that originate within the Southeast region (including North Carolina), are adapted to the region’s diverse climates and ecosystems, from coastal plains and wetlands to piedmont forests and Appalachian mountains, and hgave co-evolved with local wildlife, making them important for supporting native pollinators, birds, and other animals.
