| Bluecrop is the most widely planted highbush blueberry in the world for good reason: it's productive, adaptable, and consistently delivers mid-season crops of large, firm, classic-tasting blueberries season after season. It's an excellent all-purpose variety for WNC gardens, with strong cold hardiness and good drought tolerance once established in our acidic mountain soils. Bluecrop also happens to be one of the most reliable pollinators for other northern highbush varieties, making it a smart addition to any multi-variety planting. Self-fertile; however, they will produce a higher yield when planted with another North Highbush variety that blooms at the same time. Blooms mid spring. |
